Preferences

Preferences cover your personal account and the settings that span every garden, in one place. They are not tied to a specific garden. Reach them by tapping your avatar (initials, bottom of the sidebar or top-right on mobile). The old separate “Global settings” page now lives here too, and /settings redirects to this hub.

A search box at the top jumps you to any setting by name or a related word, across both Preferences and your garden settings.

Profile

Set your display name, which appears in the nav and in garden member lists. It defaults to your email address if not set. Sign out lives here too, in the profile card.

Email address

Change the email you sign in with. The new address gets a confirmation link, and your email changes once you click it.

Security

Change your password. It needs at least 8 characters.

Appearance

Pick a color family and a light, dark, or system (follow your device) mode. It applies across the whole app and follows you to other devices.

Text size

Choose the text size that is easiest to read. It applies across the whole app and syncs across devices when you are signed in.

Default landing

Choose where GardenOS opens. Pick the global view (all gardens) or a specific garden. Add a garden first to set this.

Global workload capacity

Set the maximum hours a week across all your gardens combined. This sets the capacity line on the global Workload page. Leave it blank to use the sum of your per-garden capacities.

Your plan

Your plan (Free, Advanced, or Expert) controls which features GardenOS shows you. It is set by your subscription, not changed here. See Plans & billing for what each plan unlocks and how upgrading works.
