Beta program
You’re reading this because you’re one of a small group of founding members testing GardenOS before it opens to the public. Thank you. Your job is simple: use it the way you’d use it for real, and tell us what’s good, what’s broken, and what’s missing.
What you get
Full access to everything, free, for the whole beta. There’s nothing to pay and no plan to pick. You’re not on a clock either; the beta runs until it’s ready, not until a date.
Founding members who stick with us through the beta keep Expert for life, on the house, as a thank-you for being early. That’s the deal for this first group.
Switch plans to feel each tier
GardenOS has three tiers when it launches: Free, Advanced, and Expert. During the beta you can preview any of them so you can feel where the lines are drawn and tell us if they’re in the right place.
Open the Plan page (Plan in the account menu), find the Preview control, and pick a tier. The app re-gates to that plan as you move around. It’s a preview only: it never changes a real subscription and never charges anything. Your pick sticks until you change it, so you can live in a tier for a while. Switch back to Free anytime to see what a new gardener sees.
Send feedback
The Feedback button (the speech-bubble icon in the top bar, left of the notification bell) opens the channel that shapes the roadmap. Pick a type, write what’s on your mind, and send. It comes straight to the team.
- Idea: something you wish the app did.
- Bug: something broken or wrong.
- Rating: how it feels to use.
- Other: anything else.
Concrete beats vague. “The harvest weight field rounds to whole pounds and I track ounces” is worth ten “this is confusing”s. Tell us where you were and what you expected.
Your first garden
You start out exploring a shared demo garden so there’s something to look at. When you’re ready, create your own garden from the dashboard or the Today screen. That’s where your real beds, plantings, and tasks live. The demo garden stays around as a reference; your garden is yours.
